Get Gillette Fusion Proglide Manual for $.60

Save money on razors.

Razors are so expensive. Over the course of the year, the cost can really add up. Especially with two people in the house who are shaving. I'm always on the lookout for great deals on razors, and this week I found the best deal so far.

Amazon.com currently has the Gillette Fusion Proglide Manual razor on sale for $4.60. This alone is a great price, but I discovered you can actually get the razor for a final price of $.60 if you follow one simple trick. Head to the Gillette Fusion Proglide Manual page on Amazon.com. Now scroll below the product until you see a rectangular box that says, “Your Coupon Book.”

You'll see that it also says “Save $4.00 with this coupon.” Click the button below that saying that reads, “Clip this coupon.” Now don't forget to add the product to your cart before continuing. I was so excited about the coupon that I forgot to put the razor in my cart.

Finish any shopping you have to do at Amazon and you'll see the discount automatically applied to your order at checkout. It really is that simple.

So what do you actually get with this deal? You get the Gillette Fusion Proglide Manual razor, plus one additional cartridge. Once you use up the extra cartridge, you only have to buy more cartridges and not an entire new razor. Although this product doesn't specifically say it is made for men, I believe it is. I, however, tend to prefer men's razors. I think they do a much better job than razors made for women.

Free Sample: Good n' Natural Bar

Natural energy bars made of nuts, fruit and seeds.

Looking for a healthy snack that won't make you feel guilty after you eat it? Good n' Natural bars are currently being offered for free so that consumers can taste for themselves how good an all-natural product can taste.

What are Good n' Natural bars made out of? They do contain a mixture of nuts, fruits and seeds so make sure you are not allergic to any of these before you get your free sample. Be sure to read the full list of ingredients on the particular flavor bar you wish to try as well. Those who are on a special diet will be pleased to discover that these bars are a great Vegan product, have no dairy ingredients and are safe for individuals who follow a gluten-free diet.Currently, the Good n' Natural bars come in four flavors. Choose from chocolate, lemon, cranberry almond and peanut butter. I've never had a lemon flavored granola bar, so that is the one I want to try first. I bet my daughter will grab the chocolate granola bar simply because it has the word “chocolate” in it.

So how do you get your free sample of the Good n' Natural bar? Simple. You can check the coupon section of your weekly newspaper first. I found on in my coupon insert this week. The coupon is for a free Good n' Natural bar. If you didn't get one in your newspaper's coupon insert, you can print one out from Red Plum. Just check the box under the Good n' Natural bar coupon and follow the directions to print it out. Redeem in your favorite grocery store.

Great Deal: 10 for $10 at Claire's

I started my Christmas shopping last week and was excited today to discover that Claire's is having a 10 for $10 sale. This sale is also available online if you don't have a Claire's near you. At first I thought there would only be a few items at that price, but there are actually pages and pages of them.

The way the sale works is that you must buy a total of 10 items. You can buy 20, 30, 40 or 50 items as well, but never any other increments or you'll end up being charged the full price of the items. I have so many kids in my family that it isn't hard to make sure I round up to the next increment of 10.What items can you find from this awesome sale? How about makeup, hair accessories, jewelry, iPhone cases, gloves, socks, fairy wings, toys, stuffed animals, belts, hair spray, coin purses, body mist, lip gloss and much, much more.

In addition to needing stocking stuffers, my youngest daughter's birthday is three days after Christmas. The last week of school before Christmas vacation is when I organize her birthday party at school. I make little goody bags for the kids to bring home, and there are plenty of items at Claire's that would be perfect for these bags.

I know a few parents who like to stock up on small gifts to give their children as rewards for good behavior, or for a day when they seem a bit down. Whatever the reason, this 10 for $10 sale is a great bargain. Just by purchasing 10 items, you can easily save over $30.

Free Biotrue Contact Lens Solution

I've been wearing contacts since the eighth grade. Now that I'm older, I find that my eyes dry out more quickly when I wear them. That is why I was excited to find Target's new freebie Biotrue Contact Lens Solution. Biotrue says they keep your eyes moisturized with the same pH that your eyes are used to for up to 20 hours.

Head to Target's free sample page and click on the Biotrue Contact Lens picture. The first section requires you to answer a seven-question survey. Don't worry. The survey is quick and only requires you to check a few boxes. Once you finish the survey, you'll be asked to submit your personal information.

Your first and last name, full mailing address and e-mail address are required so that the company knows who and where to send the sample. There are two questions at the bottom that you can either leave checked, or uncheck them. Leaving them checked means you agree to receive future communications in the future. I always uncheck these boxes. If I find I like the product, then I'll go back later and sign up to receive more information in the future.

The last step you need to take in order to get your free sample of the Biotrue Contact Lens solution is to answer a security question. Mine was what is 3 + 7, but I assume everyone gets a different math question. Click “Submit Order” after you type in the answer. Your free sample is expected to arrive within eight to ten weeks.

Wawa offers free iced beverage

I love Wawa. Right now Wawa stores can only be found along the east coast. The first thing that everyone misses when they move away from my area is the Wawa. My mom still tells me she's craving Wawa and she moved away six years ago.

If you have a Wawa in your area, you'll be excited to know that they are offering a free 16 oz. iced beverage to anyone who has their coupon. I got one the other day for my daughter. I believe she chose the chocolate caramel version. She pretty much finished the entire thing before we even got back home with it. There are plenty of other flavors to choose from as well.
In order to get the free 16 oz. iced latte, you'll have to head to the Facebook apps page. The only information they require is your e-mail address, first name and date of birth. Click submit after you enter the information in the correct boxes. Wawa will then e-mail the coupon to you. Print the coupon out on your home printer. You won't be able to print more than one or photocopy it as it will be completely unique.

Tip: If you want more than one free iced latte then ask your friends to get a coupon and give you theirs if they don't want it. One year, our town sent out free water park passes if you were a resident of the city. One went out per household, but I was able to get passes from friends who had no plans on going to the water park. This allowed me to take my whole family for free. No sense in letting all of those passes go to waste. The same can be said of the iced lattes.

Free haircuts for kids

Has your child's hair been growing out of control since school ended? Have no fear. For the entire month of August, J.C. Penney is providing free haircuts for children who fall in between grades kindergarten and sixth grade. Your children will look neat and presentable once again, just in time for school to start.

The first thing you need to know in order to take advantage of this awesome deal is whether or not your local J.C. Penney has a salon. I know the one closest to me does not have a salon. If you aren't sure, you can use J.C. Penney's store finder tool to find out. Make sure you check the box that says “salon” which is just under the phrase “JCP department stores with.” Type your zip code into the box and click “search.” Fortunately, there were several J.C. Penney salon's not too far away from where I live. I was willing to travel a bit.
Next, you'll need to call the salon and make an appointment. Many of them don't take walk-ins. Some of the J.C. Penney stores also set aside a certain number of slots for the free haircuts. Once those slots are filled, you're out of luck.

I suggest making an appointment on either the first or third Friday of the month. Those are the store's blue days, which means the lowest prices of the month. I found outfits for $3 during a few of those blue days so why not get some school clothes at the same time as your child gets his hair cut.

Free meals for kids

Can we keep it simple, please?

Ask any family where they like to eat when they have the money, and most of us have a pretty specific answer, which is often based on what foods our kids will actually eat, as well as who serves free food when. For example, we like Captain D’s on Thursdays because of the free kids’ meals, though we can all eat there for around $10 any night if we get the $2.99 deals and one drink to split (or waters). We also like Cicis because our daughter eats there well and we always get coupons, so we can all three eat there for between $12 and $15.

O’Charley’s has always been our favorite actual restaurant, however. We can get all you can eat soup and salad deals for $7 each, which are delicious—and our daughter has always been free. She loves the kids meal with shrimp and broccoli. Together, we eat for about $20, which is amazing at a sit-down restaurant like that. Plus, you get all you can eat rolls on top of it, and they are scrumptious.

That said, we took my aunt to eat there yesterday, and my daughter’s meal was on the ticket for about $5. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but that could have been part of the tip; we ended up spending $10 more than I had anticipated. When I asked about it, the waitress apologized, saying that since Easter, kids’ meals are now only free Monday through Thursday. That made sense, since we do usually eat out during the week rather than the weekend.

Still, it would have been nice to have known—there was no sign or anything posted, and I didn’t see it in the menu, either (though it could have been; we know what we want and rarely look at it!). How about a little consistency here, restaurants?

Every restaurant that has free kids’ meals—and not all of them have them, of course, but those that do—seems to have them on different days. At Steak N Shake, it’s during Saturdays and Sundays only, while at IHOP, I think, it’s after 4:00 PM. (We haven’t eaten there in years, so I might be wrong; I heard it on the radio.) I think we should pass the Convention on the Privilege to Free Kids Meals, which mandates that free kids’ meals should be on the same night every week—or that they should just be all of the damn time, because let’s face it, our kids only eat two bites and they are done, anyway.

All kidding aside, some transparency would be nice—just have it posted somewhere so parents don’t have to hunt for it. I guarantee you that we will all come on that day just to save $5—which, of course, will probably be spent on an action figure or something later anyway…

Free “Lullaby and Goodnight” download

Do you sing lullabies to your children at night? If so, you'll want to take advantage of Pampers' offer of a free download of the famous lullaby “Lullaby and Goodnight.” This lullaby is sung by none other than Grammy Award-Winning singer Jennifer Hudson.

Jennifer Hudson gained fame as a singer during her time on American Idol, but is also well accomplished as an actress. She has appeared in such films as “Dreamgirls” and “The Secret Life of Bees.” Now Jennifer is lending her musical talents to Pampers to help get your children to sleep.

I think Pampers made an excellent choice in Jennifer Hudson. She has a very soothing and pleasant voice, which will be well received by babies around the globe. She's also had plenty of practice singing lullabies to her son, David Jr.
You can hear Jennifer sing “Lullaby and Goodnight” on Pamper's Facebook page, or on YouTube. The download, however, is available on the Facebook page if you want to have a more permanent copy of the lullaby. The entire song runs 2 minutes and 34 seconds. There is no need to register to get the download either.

To thank Jennifer Hudson for lending her voice for “Lullaby and Goodnight,” Pampers donated $100,000 to her charity called the Julian D. King Gift Foundation. The Julian D. King Gift Foundation  is set up to help children of all races and backgrounds become healthy adults. If you are interested in learning more about the Julian D. King Gift Foundation, or you want to donate to support this worthy cause send an e-mail to juliandkinggiftfoundation@yahoo.com.

Environmentally friendly tote bag for $1

York Photo is currently offering new customers a great deal. You can get a grocery tote bag for only $1. This tote bag is even customized by you with your own photographs. I am a photo freak, and absolutely love ordering gifts for family members that feature memorable pictures. Since I was going to take advantage of this offer, I thought I'd share it with you.

Head to York Photo's website and click on the “Grocery Tote Bag Only $1” image. This bag normally sells for $8.99 so that's a savings of $7.99! This eco-friendly grocery bag is one you can be proud to carry around. It is not only a great alternative to plastic bags, but it also decomposes when tossed in a landfill.
Next, you'll be given a choice to choose from one of the site's tote designs, or to create your own design. I prefer to use already approved designs, but my daughter enjoys making everything from scratch. Of course, you'll need to create a new account first. Once you select a design, you can upload your photographs and drag them into place. Once you get to the checkout section of the website, you'll need to enter the promo code “YORKTOTEAD” in the promo code box. This will adjust the price to $1.

The website is also offering $.04 prints, which beats the sale of $.10 prints going on at CVS by $.06. I know I have quite a bit of photos I need to order from my last digital camera, so I plan on taking them up on this offer.

Hurry, this offer ends July 30!
