Clorox has recently launched a new campaign called “Canisters for Classrooms.” This campaign allows teachers to obtain two free containers of Clorox disinfecting wipes for use in their classrooms.
Here is why I love this campaign so much. Although I homeschool my oldest child, my youngest attends a special services school here in town. She has gotten sick so many times from other kids bringing their germs into the classroom.
The teachers have seen a few epidemics of the stomach bug that has led them to having to bleach the entire classroom. Utilizing Clorox disinfecting wipes on a daily basis is so much easier than preparing a bucket of bleach and water, and then having to get out a rag that must be re-wet every other minute.
All you have to do to get the free Clorox disinfecting wipes is be a teacher and create a classroom back-to-school supply list to be handed out to your students that has the Clorox wipes listed on it. Sign-up for the Canisters for Classrooms campaign, which is totally free to do, and then submit a copy of your back-to-school supply list to Clorox. Clorox will then send you a special code that you can use to request two free containers of their disinfecting wipes. The wipes will be sent directly to your school.
I homeschool my oldest daughter, which often allows me to claim certain teacher benefits, but unfortunately, I am not eligible for this one. Clorox will not mail their wipes to a residence. I will, however, pass along this information to my younger daughter's teachers so that they can benefit from the campaign.
