Free Nature Made adult gummies

Fish oil supplements that taste like fruit.

Hate the taste of fish oil, but need to take it for health reasons? Target is currently offering a free sample of Nature Made Adult Gummies in a fish oil formula. The gummies taste like fruit so you won't dread taking your fish oil any longer.

To get your free Nature Made Adult Gummies, you'll have to head to Target's free sample section of their website and click on the image of the Gummies bottle. First, you'll need to answer five simple survey questions. These questions are simply to identify what your current habits are when it comes to supplements.

Next, you'll need to input your name and full mailing address. Fortunately, Target remembers my info from requesting previous samples. They don't make me fill out this part. Before you click the “Next” button, uncheck the two boxes if you don't want to receive any future e-mails or mailings from Target or Nature Made. The last step is to confirm your details and answer a short math question to prove you are not a robot. The question I got was what is 2+2?

After you click “Submit the Order” a message will come up informing you that your order will be mailed within eight to ten weeks. This is slightly longer than some other free sample requests I usually go after, but well worth the wait as vitamins are extremely costly. No sense in buying an entire bottle of the gummies only to discover that you don't like them. The sample will give you all the info you need to make a purchasing decision.

Free Pedia-Lax Probiotic Yums

For children who need a little help going.

My youngest daughter has had trouble with constipation her entire life. I am always on the search for new products that can help her, especially since products like Miralax and Kondremel are no longer working. Today I discovered that Target is currently offering a free sample of Pedia-Lax Probiotic Yums.

Pedia-Lax created this new product especially for kids. It is chewable and has a strawberry flavor, so it won't be hard to convince your children to eat it. In fact, you don't even need to tell them what it is. Let them think they are eating candy. Best of all, this probiotic supplement is sugar-free, so your kids won't get hyper after they eat it.

In order to get your free sample of Pedia-Lax Probiotic Yums, you'll need to answer a few questions after clicking on the Pedia-Lax box in the samples section of the Target website. After answering the five brief questions, you'll need to enter your mailing address so Target can send you the sample. If you've received samples from Target before, your information may already be displayed.

Check the box that states you are over 13 years of age, and then check either of the other two boxes if you wish to receive information about future offers. Click the red “Next” button. Now you need to confirm your information and answer one simple math question. Mine was “What is 9 + nine?” Click “Submit Order” and you're all done.

The samples will take between 8 to 10 weeks to reach your mailbox, which is a little longer than average. Still, it's free so take advantage of it.

Free Quit Smoking book

A help guide for smokers who find it hard to quit.

Putting an end to smoking is extremely difficult for some. I personally quit smoking 13 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. Knowing my actions affected someone else's life was enough for me never to pick up a cigarette again, but other members of my family had a much harder time quitting than I did. They tried everything, including the gum that contained nicotine.

If you find yourself wanting to quit smoking, but haven't had success with any of the available products that are designed to help you quit, consider getting the book “Quit Easy.” The book is written by Jim Trimmer, a smoking cessation specialist. Jim Trimmer not only describes what it feels like to be a smoker, but he also describes what it feels like to be a non-smoker. The book is being offered completely free so there is no harm in giving it a try.

There are two ways you can get “Quit Easy” for free. First, you can download a copy from the website JazzBooks.com. This will give you instant access in the form of a PDF. If you prefer a physical copy of the book, you can also fill out the form on the website and the book will be sent to you. This is a good option if you want to give the book to a friend that is struggling to quit smoking. You should get the book within two to four weeks of filling out the web form.

Note: This book is only available for free within the United States.

Money saving tip: The oops bucket

I had no idea these existed, and now I can’t imagine living without them!

Recently a friend gave us an awesome idea for saving money, and I still cannot believe that I’d never heard of it before. Have you heard of the Oops Bucket? It’s basically just a bucket of paint that someone asked a store to mix for them, then they left it at the store when they decided it wasn’t exactly the color they had wanted.

I think the idea never occurred to me because I would never do this. If I asked for a paint color, then I would buy it—end of story. I’d feel way too guilty to not buy it after having them waste the paint. Of course, there could be other explanations; perhaps someone mixed the wrong color entirely and the bucket is a result of an honest mistake. Either way, it’s an unwanted bucket—and it’s super cheap. How cheap, you might ask?

Try five bucks. Seriously. I got a gallon bucket of $35 paint for five stinkin’ dollars. And it was much-needed paint, too! We had a roommate move out without much notice recently, and we decided to make her old room my new office. It has a view of the yard and two workable windows—something that was blocked in my old office—so that was my silver lining. That said, her room was a very dark shade of pink, and I wanted something neutral. I had already picked out free swatches at Lowe’s of sandy colors that I liked when my friend told me about the Oops Buckets.

And guess what color was available? Sandcastle.

How perfect is that! The only problem is, now that I’ve painted, I am out of paint and could really use a second coat. My best friend reminds me that my walls are going to be covered with artwork and posters and postcards anyway—she’s right, of course—so why worry? The good thing is that the walls are no longer so dark and the room is really light and open—the perfect office.

Now I only have to get used to the birds flying around outside and distracting me, something I hadn’t thought of until this morning… Perhaps the use of blinds are in order.

There were a wide variety of paints available, too—from darker shades of red to vivid lime green—so I’m sure that if you head to the store and check out the Oops Buckets, you’ll find something that might just work for you and your decorating needs.

Save money at your favorite stores

Inquire about special sales and discounts

Finding bargains at the store is starting to become harder than what you ever imagined. However, you may not want to go to the discount stores in your area for various reasons. To avoid this though, you may want to consider looking at the different stores you do shop at and ask the employees what day the managers do their discount markdowns. Here are some of the reasons to inquire about this type of markdown.

The first reason to inquire about these days is the items which are marked down may be the one you need to have. Normally you may have never thought about this before, but I found the local pet store marks down all the food I use for my dogs. So I am really able to save quite a bit of money on the food for my dogs and earlier today I managed to get a bag of food for only the tax cost of the food.

Another reason to consider asking the day the managers do these markdowns is they are typically short-lived items. This means the markdown will start on the first day, but they are normally sold out by the end of the day. So you should make sure you inquire about the sales days to guarantee you are at the store waiting for the sale to start. Without knowing the days, you may be shocked when the items were on discount, but you are a day late on getting them.

Having the opportunity to save money is a great thing, but it often requires some work on your part. This is when you should know more about why you need to ask store employees on the day the managers do the store mark downs. By knowing this information you can be front and center when the mark downs happen and save yourself a ton of money.

Free posters from the EPA

Teach your kids to care for the environment.

The United States Environmental Protection Agency is offering two free posters and a full-color brochure to anyone that wants them. Personally, I find this exciting because I homeschool. I'm always looking for educational materials and the posters work great to decorate our homeschool classroom. Of course, the posters would also be great for a child's bedroom, or for use in a public or private school setting.

There are two ways you can get each of the free items. You can call a phone number and request them, or you can order them online.

First, there is the “Estuaries: Scenes of Transition,” which was designed by John Dawson. The number to call is 800-490-9198. When prompted punch in the EPA document number EPA842-H-99-001.
The second poster is entitled "Keeping Our Oceans Clean and Safe." This is the more colorful of the two posters. You can get a copy by calling 800-490-9198 and punching in the document number EPA-842-H-02-001 when prompted.

Finally, you can request a free brochure, which shows several of the National Estuary Program's programs. Again, you'll need to call 800-490-9198 and punch in the document number EPA 842-F-99-001 to get the brochure. Of course, you can order all three of these items online if you prefer.

While your on the EPA website, you can also check out their games and activities page. This is a fun way to teach your children about the environment and what they can do to protect it. In fact, you can even make an entire lesson out of the games and posters. Maybe do some more research at the library and create a collage of what you've learned.

DeepDiscount.com's bargain bin

Save on books, DVDs, perfume and much more

This week I discovered a new site that I am so excited to tell you about. It's called DeepDiscount.com and it has some of the best deals I've seen online for books, CDs, DVDs, perfumes and more. I've been spending quite some time online looking for great deals because I'm trying to get all of my Christmas shopping done. Then I can concentrate on the season itself.

Currently DeepDiscount.com has over 2,000 DVDs at drastically reduced prices. Here are a few examples in the DVD category: The Shawshank Redemption for $4.81, The Gingerbread Man for $2.99, Texas Rangers for $4.93, and Groucho Marx: You Bet Your Life-a 12 show set-for $3.97.

The next category is CDs, and you wouldn't believe it but there are over 4,000 of those. Some titles include Merry Christmas from the Beach Boys for $4.95, Gotta Be You by One Direction for $3.93, B.B King and His Orchestra Live for $3.89, Ride Ranger Ride by Roy Rogers for $3.89, and Fearless by Taylor Swift for $4.32.

Perhaps the biggest form of savings comes in the fragrance category. Dreamer by Gianni Versace normally sells for $57.00, but you can get it on this site for $26.00. Yacht Man Red by Myrurgia sells in stores for $45.00, but all DeepDiscounts.com asks for is $8.00. There are 31 different perfumes and colognes to choose from.

Take your time and browse the site because there are plenty of other deals as well. There are books for children and adults, Blu-rays and LPs. There are even special deals listed each day-over 300!

Cheap Halloween finds

Head to the Dollar Store to stock up.

After spending an hour in a Spirit store, I have to say that Halloween has become an expensive holiday. My daughter wanted a four-dollar ink pen with a hooting owl, my husband wanted every giant werewolf and zombie they had, and I wanted pretty much everything else.

But the makeup we wanted for our costumes—little wood sprite wants to be a werewolf, while we’re going to be Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd—was way too expensive, and the costumes were, of course, even more so. Lucky for me, I grew up on a DIY household, as did many Americans. We just have trouble remembering it.So we headed over to the dollar store—or Deals, as our local one is known as—for a couple of gift bags for upcoming birthday parties, and wouldn’t you know that they had TONS of Halloween stuff! From the face paint I needed to the table cloths, cupcake holders, and trinkets for my daughter’s annual Halloween/Birthday party, they’re totally going to be our Halloween central.

The thing is, they also have a lot of stuff that the Spirit store has. No, it’s not as much fun as browsing Spirit—and setting off every display they’ve got set up!—but they have the decorations, the creepy spider web, the Lilliputians and critters that run $6 to $12 at Spirit, only for a buck each. My husband did buy something for $3—an arm to hang from the trunk of our car—but check out these pictures they have and the door knocker above that we bought for a dollar each. Not bad, right? Why spend more when you don’t have to?

Grab your Arm & Hammer coupons

Arm & Hammer makes so many great products. I feel in love with them ever since my dad began stocking the house with their baking soda when I was a kid. Their products are the best at removing tough odors and cleaning stains on my teeth and within the home. If you use Arm & Hammer products as much as I do, you are in luck. The company allows users to register for free coupons. These coupons can be printed directly from your computer. Best of all, you can print all of the coupons twice per year. Some of the coupons you can expect to see are $1.00 Arm & Hammer Sensitive Toothpaste, $3.00 off any Arm & Hammer Clear Balance Product, $.50 off Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, $1.00 off 3 Arm & Hammer Laundry products, $1.00 off 2 Arm & Hammer fabric softener sheets, $.50 off 1 carpet deodorizer product (a great buy if you have pets), and $2.00 off an Arm & Hammer Spinbrush Toothbrush.

A small box will pop up asking you for your zip code once again. Type it in the box and click “Submit.” Click the box next to each coupon that you want to print. My screen had a total of 14 coupons. You can print them all if you want, or only one or two if you won't have use for them all. It is as simple as that!

Free Sample: Dove ClearTone

Try a sample of Dove's new deodorant for free.

The best freebies in my opinion are the ones you absolutely need. This includes personal care freebies as well as food freebies. Currently, Target is offering a free deodorant sample from Dove (one of my favorite deodorant brands). Every household is eligible to claim one free sample of Dove's new deodorant: Dove ClearTone. Keep in mind that you can also use the free sample as a stocking stuffer. Christmas is coming sooner than you think!

Head to Target's free sample section and click on the image of the Dove ClearTone deodorant bottle. This will bring you to a form that you need to fill out in order to get the free sample. First, you'll have to answer four quick survey questions. The next screen requires you to fill in your mailing address.

If you've visited Target samples before, it may fill this information in for you. It did for me. The last step is to confirm your order. You'll have to answer a simple math question. Mine was “What is 5 minus two?” Then click “Submit Order.” Target will place a “Requested” stamp over the product sample so that you can't try to get more than one free sample.

The Dove ClearTone deodorant is specially formulated to help create an even skin tone by reducing redness and dark marks. The sample is said to arrive within 8 to 10 weeks. I often find that if I don't write down which samples I requested, I forget until they magically show up two months later. Then its more like a pleasant surprise when I open up my mailbox!
