Why Vacuums Matter

Why Vacuums Matter

It probably goes without saying but when buying a vacuum, one can either buy cheap or look toward the seemingly extremely expensive.

Today, we made the choice to purchase a Dyson DC-25.  I had always known that they were great vacuums and that they would pick up just about everything but I was very surprised when using this product and how well it does.  It picks up dirt and grime that must have been hiding in the carpet for months or even years.  Which is gross, I know.

Before, we used to pick up the hundred dollar vacuums and find ourselves disappointed by the quality or the durability of the product.  It is the worst feeling when you are trying to clean and the vacuum just won't pick anything up.  It is a mixture of disappointment and failure.  I don't want to feel this again when trying to finish a project.

The last thing that you should have to do is worry about people being disgusted by your floors and that can happen with one simple disappointing vacuum.

I'd say that the Dyson is beyond a sigh of relief.  However, there are a few things that bother me about the vacuum.  The price is ridiculous.  And just like anything that you pay a good chunk of your hard cash for, you want to treat it well.  I barely want to push on anything for fear of breaking it.  This makes vacuuming a tedious job.  Lastly, it makes me want to clean more than ever.  I guess this isn't a bad thing, but cleaning too much could be a waste of a good life, right?

Overall, if you have the money, make the decision because you will feel great since your home is in order and you can finally focus on something more appropriate like your run for presidency or that promotion you want.
